Dana Loesch Talks Tea with Rick Santorum

On February 1, 2012, in GOP Candidates, by Eric Odom

Dana Loesch, a conservative radio talk show host and long time veteran tea party activist, recently interviewed Rick Santorum on her radio show and made it clear she was open to possibly endorsing him. Loesch makes it clear that she’s currently watching both Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich to determine who she’ll support.

The interview provides a great 13 minute look into the mindset and character of Rick Santorum. It’s well worth the listen if you’ve got the time.

Note: One part of the interview that sets off a red flag for me is Santorum’s defense of his vote on the right to work bill. Santorum argues that his state is not right to work and he didn’t want federal law to trump the will of his state. It can be argued that right to work is a core liberty that should be available for all Americans and it’s the job of federal government to protect our rights. Under Santorum’s argument, a state has the right to remove rights?

Outside of that I found the interview quite compelling.

I see Santorum as the only legitimate conservative with both Romney and Gingrich as having become latter day conservatives but their histories prove otherwise.

  2. Phyllis Poole says:

Santorum has so much fire it is hard for him to get it all out! He does not have the speech of a liar, someone who is trying to please you in what he says – it is just as he feels it.
I want to add he is miles apart from the smooth Romney. Remember in a debate, Romney saying he voted liberal in Mass to please his constituents? He didn ‘t mean to say this but he told us he lied to them, since he is trying to tell us he really is a conservative. BUT my thoughts are did he really? or is he lieing to us NOW??? He is not to be trusted . He also gave illegal permits to gays to be married then – ILLEGAL -he snubbed his nose at the law!! I heard this on a radio super pac ad. And I am wondering if he will do such things if he should be our president. He has a background of polygamy in his kin and his faith believes in it. Will he push for gay marriage so then eventually polygamy would be legal also to please his Mormon fellows? I am not surprised Trump has backed him either. He also is a democrat in republican clothes.
    PLEASE GOD HELP US!!!!!

  3. Rick S. is a true conservative and I wish that I could be sure that he could beat Obummer because that is my main concern–Obummer must be replace–we will not have another chance!! My main concern is replacing Obummer and worrying about replacing that person in four years – if he doesn’t work out. Obummer must be replaced!!!
I don’t believe any negatives that the Super Pacs put out on any candidate. “They really lie — Big”. I have dislikes on Romney and Newt but I trust Romney over the Government Established Newt Gingrich He is a lyer and a Womanizer. My personal beliefs– not meaning to step on anyone’s toes but entitled to my opinion.
