  1. Richard Davis says:

This is the first good news I’ve seen in nearly 4 years. It’s about time this country wakes up.

  2. George says:

I had been thinking Gingrich was the best, but then he began to fade as a result of his schoolboy spat with Romney. Then Santorum began to sound like the only adult on the playground. I’m still mulling it over, but Santorum looks better and better all the time.

    • Carole MacDonald says:

Gingrich keeps telling us he’s a conservative, but how can a conservative consider 2 big government progressives, F.D.R and Wilson, his favorite past presidents?

  3. mr bad example says:

first i donated to michele, then rick… GO RICK GO!

    • Elaine says:

A few weeks ago, there was a quiz going around to see who “we” really would be voting for when asked about the various issues. I was surprised.
Mine came out Santorum and Bachman (in that order)

      • mr bad example says:

i donated to bachmann like 5-6 months ago, santorum wasn’t in the race as of yet, money can’t buy love or votes. michele is a little “edgy”, i still like her, maybe a great VP. romney has been burning bucks like a like a pyromaniac in a paper mill. he’s lost traction with these 3 races tonight. in my book, he’s a RINO, and he wears mommy jeans! (like obama). also he doesn’t drink beer, so he loses the “jim six pack” vote. :)

  4. BillShee says:

    THERE IS HOPE!

  5. JJ says:

If the conservatives and Tea Partiers would loudly support Santorum, we can get rid of the democrat Romney. Cause there’s not much difference between Romney and Obama, except $$$$.

  6. mr bad example says:

that’s one crap-load of blather, 3 screens full!, too bad you didn’t say who VOTED all this in your cut and paste fury. click on your smartgirl politics and it leads to a generic front page. if i need my eyes glazed, i’ll read a post from you.

romney authored romneycare, which is the model for obamacare. gingrich believes in global warming and required health insurace. ron paul pilots the UFO dennis kucinich rides in.

in future posts, remember brevity is the soul of wit. i stated my case with 3 lines, in my own words, concisely. try learning from your elders…

  7. Eric Odom says:

To the individual who pasted an entire article here, that is a violation of fair use laws and we kindly ask that you refrain from doing so. Thanks.

    • mr bad example says:

fair use laws, jim steinman said it best “you took the words right out of my mouth!” (meatloaf) thanks for cleaning up that mess Eric :)

  8. beach gal says:

All of these things are verification of Ricks voting record?

  9. Cole says:

If there was a button that killed every muslim in the middle east Rick Santorum would press it.

He has no chance in the general election.

    • mr bad example says:

if there was that button, i’d beat the hell out of it, this is not the muslim nation obama claims it to be.

say “muslim and obama” and you’ll light a fire under every voter that is ticked off at obama’s making NASA’s main goal to “appreciate muslims”, obama loves his muslim faith, the chanting of the koran is the most beautiful sound, and he quotes the koran so well…

line up a row of them buttons, and i’d set a world record for pounding them into oblivion in a minute. Islam is a joke “religion” of HATE that demands followers to kill those who don’t join. “Jihad” is more than a word. “Jihad” means kill all “infidels” and “non-believers”, they will lie to your face and say it is a religion “of love”, until they are strong enough to stab you in the back or blow you to oblivion with a larger weapon of mass destruction. they want to kill all jews first (judeaism is the template that mohammed stole his twisted religion from, the muslim diet is the same as the jewish kosher diet) then everyone else. Cole, i doubt you are a muslim, guess what? you’re on their list! rise and shine pretty boy!

  10. RKP says:

I still support Newt but if it comes down to Santorum are Romney i’ll take Santorum in a heartbeat. Whats up with the vote/poll, it asked to choose between Romney and Santorum, i went to vote for Santorum but the link went to a poll we’ve already voted in?

  11. RKP says:

I am ABO_ _ANYBODY BUT O BAMA 2012

    ABO_ _ ELMER FUDD 2012

  12. Ellman says:

Newt coming out of S. Carolina looked invincible, as did Mitt coming out of Florida. For different reasons both are not suited to represent partriotic Americans. Santorum taking 3 states is almost a miracle but that’s what it will take to defeat the Chicago machine firmly ensconced in Washington DC.

  13. Rob H says:

thank you to the voters in Colorado, Missouri, and Minnesota! YOU have turned the tide for conservatism! It’s time for Newt to realize that although we all know he is by far the smartest guy in the room, and we know that he would clean Obama’s clock in any debate on any topic, he is not going to overcome the mistake of attacking success with the people that have the American dream. We cannot allow the mainstream press to fool us into another crappy candidate (Romney) like they did with the last presidential election. If you combine the three conservative candidates totals into one, Romney would already be out of this thing. I don’t expect Ron Paul to “get it” and get out so we can have a conservative to cleanup after the mess Obama has made, but I do believe Newt loves this country enough to know only a conservative can fix this mess and enough to do the right thing and get out. With his help Santorum can beat Romney and Obama and he can truly become a conservative hero! Please Newt, do the right thing!!

  14. I always thought Santorum was the best candidate although I felt Gingrich might have stood a better chance of winning against Obama. I am going to donate to Santorum’s campaign. I have always believed Bachman would be a good V.P. Neither of these two have the baggage all the rest have. Let’s get behind Santorum! I have followed his term in office closely in Pa. where I live. He is a true Conservative.

  15. Poppo says:

Attended our (small) Precinct Caucus in El Paso County, CO, about 12 Mi east of Colorado Springs. Our Caucus voted 28 for Rick Santorum, 7 for Newt Gingrich, 2 for Ron Paul, and 2(!) for Romney.

One of our caucus attendees summed up Ron Paul this way. I am 100% for about 90% of what Ron Paul stands for, but that other 10% totally keeps me from supporting him.

  16. Yeee-Haw ! Rock-an Roll on Rick.

  17. DS says:

One of the reasons I am turning away form the Tea party is the blatent promotion of Gingrich. Santorum is better but I like Mitt Romney. Santorum is a big spender and I fail to see how he will be much better than Obama. Gingrich is a scoundrel who sells his bid to whomever has the most money. ( So and oath to a scoundrel is meaningless right!) If he is not faithful to his wives hy would he be faithful to us?

The only person who has built his own business the American way is Romney. So far I hear the most baseless accusations( like he is too rich) from people who have not really studied his career or plain slander and dislike. I hear Gingrich championed despite his records showing that he would be the same as Obama. Romney is the only one I see with true values and the ability shown by his actions. People say he does not help the poor but he was a stake president. They spend many hours helping the poor. What about his tithing? That helps the poor. I personally believe that it is the lack of knowledge of the LDS church which is causing a blind prejudice among people that is the root of these many times baseless complaints.

  18. DS says:

Romney allowed Massachusetts to choose Romney care. The facts are a little bit skewed where did you check your sources? It is interesting that the last two comments were written before I finished my comment. It makes me wonder who is in charge of this site and what there real motivations are.

  19. [...] is why I’m still baffled as to why Romney didn’t pull out the bigger guns for Colorado and Minnesota earlier this month. A win in Colorado and strong second place finish would have shot down any notion that he’ll [...]
