At a town hall style meeting this past Monday in Silicon Valley, CA, a Google employee asked Obama to raise his taxes.  His reasoning was simply because he wanted the Pell Grant and other similar programs to continue that were instrumental in his success. Mr. Doug Edwards is the most recent liberal American joining the ranks with millionaire, Warren Buffet, standing with Obama calling for a raise in taxes on the wealthiest Americans.

 I am calling these liberal millionaires out on the carpet to put their money where their mouth is.

Since 1843 the United States has a gifting program where by Americans can donate to the US Treasury for general budgetary needs.  Donations can be applied to over 50 separate accounts and government programs or donations can be earmarked to pay down the federal deficit.

Individuals like Warren Buffet or Doug Edwards are free to whip out their check books and donate as much of their hard earned money as they desire! Barack Obama himself,  just as easily can fund his trips including his entire entourage. Better yet, since Obama is so interested in redistributing the wealth, as he stated to Joe the Plumber in 2008, he could forfeit his compensation.Yup, that’s the ticket!

How do I make a contribution to the U.S. government?

Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called “Gifts to the United States.” This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs. These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government.

Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below.

Any tax-related questions regarding these contributions should be directed to the Internal Revenue Service at (800) 829-1040.

The next time you hear the liberals spewing their class warfare, send them to this link: http://www.fms.treas.gov/faq/moretopics_gifts.html and invite them to pull out their check book and make a deposit in America. It is voluntary. It should stay that way. The wealthy are the ones that create and provide jobs. They pay a solid portion of their earnings on taxes every year. If a few of them want to do more they can step up and swing that bat. No one is stopping their patriotism to the United States! Batter-batter batter-batter!

As Barack Obama continues his rounds, he will most assuredly continue this campaign rhetoric.  Lets assist by making sure Americans are educated and understand; they can make those voluntary contributions on the behalf of the President of the United States, Barack Obama!
