The portion of the discussion Gingrich is taking heat for is the point when he openly advocates for amnesty for those in the country illegally for 25 years or longer. He then makes a statement claiming those who came here legally are “law abiding” residents, which is impossible considering those here illegally broke the law to get here.

Now you could argue Gingrich is trying to go for a comprehensive reform package, but the problem there is Harry Reid and Barack Obama make the same argument in support of the Dream Act. In fact, much of what Newt Gingrich is arguing for is indeed at the core of the Dream Act. Furthermore, Gingrich is calling for a government body to determine which lawbreakers have earned the privilege of having their record wiped clean. This in and of itself is problematic at a time when government committees and boards have proven to be a complete failure on all fronts.
There isn’t an easy answer to the immigration problem we face today, but I’m guessing most primary voters support a “get to the back of the line” type of situation, regardless of how unfriendly it might be to enforce the laws we have on the books.

In addition, McCains stance on illegal immigration and and the criminal dream act (which is a nightmare for US Citizens) makes him a traitor as he has violated his oath to defend the Constitution.
Now as for slick Newty, he is brilliant and a tremendous speaker but haven’t we seen enough of “good speakers” to know all they offer is what they think will get them elected? Newt is nothing more than a cunning politician who happens to be articulate and has a good speech writer who is in tune with the majority of people who want to preserve our way of life. He is not worthy of being POTUS and we should beware of one more slick politician who has spent his entire life entrenched in and part of the Washington DC criminals union called Congress.
Newt Gingrich during the debate almost made me as sick as Obummer does. This snake is no better than Obummer. Gingrich and Perry both are willing to give the illigals a pathway to citizenship–I believe Gingrich is in George Soro’s hip pocket. According to his ex-wife and also information on Bing.com–he is all about money and can easily be bought. Too many of our Patriots are not checking out these candidates before jumping on the wagon with them. Newt Gingrich is a very big RHINO and Perry is not too far behind him. Since Bachmann does not seem to have the punch to get to the top of the selection( Which I believe she is the best choice) then I for one am going to get behind a candidate that can beat Obummer and will make a decent president and that is Romney — He can beat Obummer and I for one will over look him being a Mormon — It is a big improvement over a Muslim!!!
