I keep reading negative comments about Herman Cain‘s service to the Federal Reserve and how this one issue is the litmus test for his candidacy. If, during Cain’s tenure with the FR, he was found to be very influential in the banking industry, it could be a litmus test.
However, if you did some research, you would soon discover that Cain was a Class C director and not allowed to deal with the banking industry. Bet you didn’t know there are 3 clases of directors with different and specific duties.
and as such:
Class C
Three Class C directors also represent the public, but are appointed by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. This adds another layer to the blending of public and private control over the nation’s central bank. The Board of Governors also selects both the chairman and deputy chairman of each regional Federal Reserve Bank’s Board of Directors from among the Class C directors. These directors are highly insulated from banking relationships. They may not be an officer, director or employee of a bank or bank holding company. Additionally, these directors may not own stock in a bank or a bank holding company.
Cain was selected due to his business acumen.
Furthermore, these voluntary directors usually meet every 2 weeks, not a great sphere in my opinion. The FR of 1994,1995 was far different from the FR today.It was more conservative and the federal deficit was far less than it is today.
Cain says he is not in favor of auditing the FR as nothing will be done. The FR is audited, and nothing is done. Sounds like all those the documentation about Obama’s citizenship where nothing is done.

So what else was Cain doing in 1994 besides allegedly screwing us over on banking? Cain sparred with Clinton on “HillaryCare”at a town hall meeting and is know as the saboteur of the Clinton health care proposal.
It was in his capacity as a restaurateur that Cain achieved his first bit of political fame. In April 1994, Bill Clinton was stumping for his health-care bill. At a Kansas town hall, Cain rose from the crowd and said the bill would force Godfather’s to fire part of its workforce. Clinton parried and said Cain would only have to raise pizza prices by 2 percent. Cain, now openly contradicting the president, insisted Clinton was “incorrect.” The blast came as the coalition that might support Clinton’s plan was disintegrating, and the Hermanator—as he was by then calling himself—became a rock star. Cain “wasn’t the bullet” that killed reform, insists Chris Jennings, who was a senior health-care adviser to Clinton. But Newsweek dubbed Cain, not Harry and Louise, one of the “real saboteurs.” from the Daily Beast.
I am supporting and voting for whomever the GOP nominates.

Seems to me that Mr. Cain’s knowledge of the FED makes him MUCH MORE qualified to be President. That kind of in-depth knowledge is hard to find among the usual brain dead politicians.
Among the present field of candidates, I am impressed by Herman Cain because he is NOT a senator, representative, governor, or government bureaucrat. He is a successful businessman and he has a more in-depth knowledge of the Federal Reserve than the rest of the candidates. What I see shaping up is an organized assault by the RINOs, the lame stream media, and certain “conservative” organizations to sabotage and discredit Cain. Well, hang in there Herman!
One of the things about Herman Cain that appeals to me is that he isn’t a politician, and therefore says things that aren’t customary. He strikes me as very real.
Check out this humorous cartoon which uses Obama’s own voice, spoken by him, to make the case that he’s ill prepared to lead a capitalist society. The cartoon uses Obama’s recent (and desperate?) raffle to have dinner with him as a plot device to put him in contact with a perfect foil, who eventually decides that Obama is so hopelessly clueless that she is going to vote for Herman Cain.

It’s pretty funny and it also serves to highlight the differences in worldview (at least in terms of business and the economy) between somebody like Herman Cain and Mr. Obama. I found it illuminating.
Did you all miss the debate in which Cain revealed he supported TARP? In an of itself, that rules him out for me. I also worry about his lack of knowledge of foreign policy and the military. He’s a very nice man and possibly a good businessman. I would definitely vote for him if he was the alternative to Obama, but think Michele Bachman and Rick Perry are far better candidates.
Rick Perry is a junior GWBush. which is better than Obama no doubt. Michelle Bachman, I like her but women will not vote for her, she is an attractive , smart woman, that alone will cause women to turn on her. Sorry to say that, I am a woman and while I would vote for a woman, I know hundreds of other women who will hunt things to hate about her just because she is attractive. Nothing a woman hates more than a more attractive woman that she is. Its the reason for all the hate toward Palin. You will find far more men who like Sarah Palin then you will women.

I have followed Herman Cain for years, at least 10 since I was from Atlanta area. He used to sub for Neal Boortz’s radio show on am 750 later on he got his own show on am 750. I really like the man, he is direct , straight forward and a man of his word. He is a wonderful family man. He came from nothing, so no silver spoon in his mouth. He has great business experience and if we are going to turn things around we need someone who understands business and what its going to take to get the business’s back to work and hiring again. He supports the fairtax , that alone is a great reason to vote for him. He knows his limitations and will bring in qualified people to help him with things he doesn’t feel he is knowledgable enough in. He took on BIll Clinton years ago and whiped the floor with him. Not to mention the fact that Herman Cain will totally take the race card off the table. He is a black man, not a half black man. I personally don’t like Obama’s white side either.
On the who to vote for I will vote GOP, whoever it is as the last thing we need to is to allow Obama to get another 4 yrs to distroy this country. We definately need to unite because like it or not the democrats will win the white house again if we split the vote which democrats are counting on the tea party to split the vote.

The Fed is a private bank, not federal and not a reserve. It not only says so on their website but I have federal court rulings that they CAN be sued, you CANT sue the govt, but CAN SUE the Fed. It is the greatest con ever perpetrated on the US. Cain isnt stupid so he knows the truth and is therefore a supporter of the Global Banking Elite that is seeking to institute the NEW WORLD ORDER. Except, At one of Herman Cain’s first stops in Iowa (Very Early) he said in response to a question about auditing the Fed, he said ” I do not believe in conspiracy theories” then he went on to say the Federal Reserve constantly does its own audits. In other words, we have no reason not to trust them. When Mr. Cain reached the other side of Iowa 10 days later, he then started saying we should Audit the Fed . After flooding of the economy with dollars using QE#1 and QE#2 from the Fed. The per Gal. price of Gasoline has gone up between $.50 and a dollar. ( because of the dollars worth deflation )The dollar is worth less every time The Fed pumps money in. It is a hidden tax on the American people.
Well let’s look back on the Master of change that was elected in 2008. He had no job skills short of being a community organizer, a want to be lawyer, a junior senator and a well oiled puppet with a golden gift of gab. He got elected by the masses that wanted change but never ask him to explain what the changes would be. At least herman Cain is a proven business man with a history of business success. He at least understands what it is to meet a payroll week after week. he understands how a tax increase impacts the bottom line of a business and also the customers that support that business. I say he is pretty well qualified. Definatley more so than Mr. Obama was when he was elected.

While I don’t know Herman Cain and have nothing against him,I do question why anyone would simply vote a party platform when so many citizens have recognized that both the DNC and GOP is rife with self-serving and useless politicians who not only do not honor their Oaths of Office to protect and defend the Constitution,but don’t seem to have the backbone to even speak of this.
I for one do not worry about diluting the vote since I would ask “What do we the people have now ? and does it make a difference ? “

The fact that Herman Cain worked for the Federal Reserve does not influence me nearly as much as the statement he made during a radio interview stating that he did not see any reason to audit the Federal Reserve. I completely disagree with this statement unless, instead of an audit, legislation is passed to totally abolish the Federal Reserve System.
Herman still has my support. He is one smart, balsy candidate who can clean up the damn mess of Obama’s.

An audit is just a management tool, it doesn’t do anything except analyze numbers… so an audit of the fed it’s true would do nothing, except reveal the details of where the money is going…
Do we not want to know how where our nations money is going? To properly fix something you must first know what, then where, then how. Once you have these elements you’ll be able to see where you need to go…
I have been researching Herman Cain since he made his “kind of” announcement on Cavuto’s show back in 2009 at the Atlanta tea party.
The more I find out about the man, the more I’m convinced that we need this man in the white house.

My question, why hasn’t he addressed this directly? Explain his role and how this would make him a better candidate. If he felt the fed was out of control maybe he would suggest dismantling it since they (the fed) made an ungodly amount of profit last year far exceeding any oil company (several trillion dollars) all on the backs of the tax payers!! My other concern is his flip flop on his stance with Muslims both in his cabinet and as judges (especially judges). He hasn’t explained either issue to my satisfaction and others may try but I want to hear it from the candidate’s mouth! I agree, actions mean more than words…let’s see his actions…his handlers must know these are issues of concern by now and see if he will hide from them or take them head on for the record and not waiver!!

As a conservative member of the GOP for more than 38 years, I would never support Mitt Romney for any public office whatsoever. Herman Cain’s support for Mitt Romney, a candidate that Duncan Hunter rightly called out for his liberalism when he referred to Romney as member of the “Kennedy WIng of the Republican Party” is definitely a red flag.
Correct TC, Cain is not a banker. We have what are called employers also known as masters, and we have employees, also known as servants. Did Cain have employees? I am one that discerns him not presidential material as I like history and if one has ever read Thomas Jefferson’s quotes, opinions, etc. Cain would definetly not be on his list. He stands(defends, makes excuses) for much our Christian, God fearing forefathers warned us of. Not saying he is not a Christian. I don’t even know if Thomas Jefferson was one. God only knows mans heart and mind.
You can disagree with someone without disliking them. You can dissagree without judging one. It is called discernment. And many discern things differently. FYI…Herman Cain did NOT work at the Federal Reserve in Kansas City. He was on the Board of Directors and he was chairman for that period of time. Furthermore, Board of Directors at the 12 Federal Reserve banks do NOT work for the bank nor are they paid by the FED.
The Board of Directors are business entities that have their businesses based within the FED districts from Banks to construction companies to Home Depot’s, to whatever else businesses within the area.
Much of this propaganda is being spread around by the Ron Paul supporters who have zero clues of what they are talking about when it comes to Herman Cain.
Moreover, Herman Cain is ON record that he did not approve of what the FED has done lately.
I don’t care who the GOP chooses if its not Herman Cain. I’m voting for him even if I have to write in his name.
I was in his camp until I read he had refused to sign the Right to Life Pledge.

RESPONSES:
1.) America is in this mess because citizens do not monitor elected officials and those that do have very short memories. RINOs have been the wolf in the hen house. Cain is that wolf
2.) Most tea parties don’t meet every 2 weeks. For a group or committee to meet once a month means that there is warranted activity and more so every 2 weeks.
3.) The very fact that Cain is not supportive of an audit is great reason for investigation. If the FED has nothing to hide, then get on with the audit! Sounds more like Cain is entrenched with the fascist system.
There’s no way I will vote for Cain. And please don’t attempt to turn this into a racist issue.
I will make this simple.
Central Economic planning is the role of the FED. The control of interest rates, money supply and inflation. When government is allowed to have the FED print money the government grows in size. We dont have to talk about the evils of the fed or the bankers that run the FED. We just need to look at the role of the FED in our lives, our money supply and our debit. I think that should be enough to know that when someone has this kind of thinking and or worked for the FED they are supporters of central economic planning. The fed is unconstitutional and a central bank most important the fed should not be our printing press only the US governmetn should be issuing our dollars PERIOD!
Herman Cain worked at the Fed and will not push for an audit because of the strong internal controls that he witnessed. He will sign off on an audit but will not push for one. This does not make him a bad guy. What would make him a bad choice would be any Keynesian influence that he may retain. The Fed operates based on the limits established by congress so we need congress and the president to establish legal limits that would ensure sound money and fiscal restraint. Our political leaders have used the hidden inflation tax to pay for their reckless spending and this is what needs to stop now. This requires honest leadership that will admit to printing money to pat the bills from Washington. Who will stand up and say that?
Herman Cain is a direct threat to Obama, he thinks in clarity to a standard that is not Obama’s end state. With a business background understanding P&L not just spend until it ends makes the inner belt of Washington very nervous for his clarity could become the amplification factor in exposing the illegal acts working in the house and senate.
The fact that he supports TARP combined with the fact that he worked for The Creature (FED) is enough for me to give him a thumbs down.

This is a copout because by editing the Fed many unethical, nefarious, or outright criminal revelations may come to light which would spawn a growing resentment and dissent among the public. This would pressure congress to act on this.

The little bit of info that we got when Bloomberg sued has already shown us that the criminals at the Fed handed out hundreds of billion of dollars to foreign banks. Your money! If you go back about a year ago on youtube Herman Cain endorsed Ron Paul’s audit of the Fed. Now he doesn’t. If you don’t know how important this issue is, please educate yourself . Read “the Creature from Jekyll Island”. It completely changed my views on economics and politics. Next to the Bible, this will be the most important book you will ever read..maybe even more important.
How can anyone claim to be a Tea Party member and not support auditing the Fed? That is as lame as being a Patriot that does not support the second amendment. Especially since Cain publicly supported Ron Paul’s audit bill and now he doesn’t. Recently he even said that if you want info on the Fed, just call the…the organization that is more secretive than the CIA. A vote for Cain indicates ignorance of these facts. If we don’t solve the Fed issue, nothing we do will fix our problems. No amount of cuts or taxes will eliminate our debt. And Obama is bought and paid for by the bankers so he won’t fix this problem either.

Well at least Cain cab say he’s produced something in life and has had significant experience in the workforce. What can Obama brag about regarding having had a real job in his life? Gee, I can hear the crickets chirping now.
These people just play musical chairs is all. Head of some Corporation then of some foundation then the Fed then in to government then back to some foundation then the CFR then back into government then head of some corporation….. Blah blah blah. Heck they may never go into politics/government but at some level they do control it in some form or fashion.
